She was raised by her mother,Pat Hewitt in the
small town if Killeen. Her mother named her "Love" after
her friend in college and her Brother Todd added "Jennifer"
cause he had a crush on a girl named Jennifer when he was younger,
and that's how she got that beautiful name,Jennifer Love Hewitt.
She was performing from the age of 3,at that age
she sang at a livestock show, and the song was "The Greatest
Love of all. Her second gig was at a restaurant dance all, apparentely, she
disappeared and was later found on the stage where she was singing
"Help Me make It Through The Night". By the age of 5 she
was taking tap, jazz and ballet lessons. Her lessons were successful
and led her to joining the Texas Show team, which toured the USSR
and Europe,so she saw the world at a young age. When she was 10
a talent scout advised her that moving to LA would help her career,so
without further waiting, she and her mother packed their bags and
were on the way. Love quickly found work in commercials and on Disney's
Kids Inc, where she met future co-star Scott Wolf.
Later she joined the cast of Party of Five and
while doing the show she also took correspondence classes from Laurel
Springs High School for Young Actors and graduated in 1998. In between
she also released 3 CD's.
She's a big fan of Johnny Depp and Gwyneth Paltrow,
she likes strawberries with whipped cream and chocolate, she thinks
her ears are ugly and she's simply the best.

"I would just love once to be called sexy.
Just because it would make me something other than cute."
"I love that whole princess mentality, but
I also like throwing my hair in a ponytail and just wearing jeans,
going on a hike and then eating a big chili-cheeseburger"
"I'm a hopeless romantic. It's disgusting.
It really is. I've seen While You Were Sleeping, like, twenty times,
and I still believe in the whole Prince Charming thing."
"When I came to Los Angeles, it was the first
time that I ever felt like I belonged somewhere. Not because it
was wacky, but because people here understood what I felt like to
perform, and there were other kids my age who wanted to do it. I
didn't get looked at as God, you freak."
"I just accept them [her cleavage] as a great
accessory to every outfit."

"I don't consider myself a great dresser either.
But I try. Most of the time I'm in khakis and a white T-shirt. I'm
a total Gap girl. Super casual, hair in a pony tail and no makeup."
- in response to being voted as one of the Worst Dressed by People
magazine.
